For over 75 years, the Chang Chun Group has built its reputation in Taiwan as a leader in ultra-pure chemicals. Chang Chun Arizona is the next chapter - the Group's very first manufacturing facility in the United States. From Casa Grande, Arizona, we're proud to supply the electronic-grade chemicals that power American semiconductor manufacturing.
1949: The Start
Three young friends and classmates - Ming-Kun Liao, Shu-Hong Lin, and Shin-Yi Tseng studied together at Taipei Industrial School (now National Taipei University of Technology).
Filled with passion and ambition, they researched how to make phenolic molding compound and phenol resin in their own backyard. After a successful experiment, they compiled NT$500 (~$15 USD) and established Chang Chun Plastics Factory (which seeded Chang Chun Group).
1953: Early Success
One of CCP’s earliest major products was a urea‑formaldehyde thermosetting plastic used as a key adhesive component in water‑resistant plywood. This innovation improved the quality and durability of plywood produced by Taiwanese manufacturers and contributed to Taiwan’s rise as a major player in the global plywood industry.
Building on this foundation in plastics and related chemical materials, CCP gradually expanded into higher‑value and more specialized applications over the following decades, ultimately laying the groundwork for its entry into the electronics sector.
1994: First EL-H202 Plant
After many years of successfully producing industrial-grade hydrogen peroxide, CCP built a new plant in Miaoli, Taiwan dedicated to electronic‑grade hydrogen peroxide, marking the company’s entry into the semiconductor industry, where this chemical plays a vital role in wafer cleaning.
Chang Chun has since become Taiwan’s largest manufacturer of high‑purity hydrogen peroxide.
2015: Advancing Capacity
To expand production capacity and strengthen its commitment to meeting rising global demand for electronic chemicals, CCP invested in a new facility in Taiwan: the Changpin plant.
Equipped with advanced manufacturing capabilities, the 100 acre plant reinforces CCP's position as a reliable supplier in a rapidly growing and technology-driven market.
2023: New Roots
Building on the momentum of Changpin, Chang Chun Group is taking its next major step forward - this time, planting roots in America for the very first time with Chang Chun Arizona.
As the Chang Chun Group's first U.S. manufacturing facility, our Casa Grande plant strengthens Arizona's semiconductor ecosystem while creating high-quality local jobs - a long-term commitment to the community and to advanced manufacturing in the United States.
